# Fund Vault

Supply USDC to the LeverAcc Fund Vault for wlaUSDC shares and earn interest paid by borrowers. Target APY \~10–15%, redemptions and risks explained.

The Fund Vault is where funders supply the USDC that LeverAcc lends to trading accounts.

## How it works

* **Supply USDC** and receive **`wlaUSDC`** vault shares.
* The vault lends to LeverAcc Accounts within their borrow limits.
* **Interest paid by borrowers flows into the vault**, so the value of each share grows over time.
* **Redeem** by queueing a redemption request. Requests are processed in order as liquidity is available. A liquidity buffer is kept for redemptions.

## Where yield comes from

Yield comes from interest paid by traders who borrow. The borrow rate rises as more of the vault is lent out, so yield goes up when demand is high. **Target funder APY: \~10–15%.** Actual yield depends on borrowing demand.

## How funders are protected

* Per-account and per-project borrow caps
* Continuous health monitoring, automatic de-risking and an exchange-side system stop-loss on every borrowing account (see [Risk Management](/leveracc-docs/how-it-works/risk-management.md))
* Repayment priority: interest first, then principal, on every close-out
* Pause switches for borrowing, supply and redemptions, plus protocol-wide freeze

## Risks

Funding is not risk-free. In extreme markets a position may close at a worse price than its stop, leaving a shortfall that is written off against the vault as bad debt. Smart-contract risk, Hyperliquid platform risk and liquidity risk (redemptions waiting in the queue) also apply. Only supply what you can afford to have at risk.
